CINTA is a metals and machinery company whose core business is the production of industrial equipment.

We design, build and assemble standard and on demand equipment in carbon or stainless steel for all the industries.

Equipment like Charging Conveyors; Scroll Conveyors; Loading Legs; Roller Tables; Automation of production and despatching lines, Steel Silos ... etc. These are part of the products of our production range.

Founded in 1980 by the actual partners, CINTA is actually a milestone in the Metals and Machinery sector.

The know-how provided us with a deep knowledge of this business area, as proved by our outstanding Trading Portfolio that includes some of the most remarkable Portuguese companies.

28/11/1980 - Business registration in Sintra .

Stock Capital= 500.000$00 (five hundred thousand escudos)

Stockholders : Manuel Moreira dos Santos and Arlete da Silva Castelão Moreira dos Santos

02/01/1981 – Business Starting date

Total Area = 500 M2

Indoor Area = 150 M2

Number of employees = 8

28/11/1985 - The Company moves to new facilities built and ran directly by the company

Total Area = 5.000 M2

Indoor Area = 1.500 M2

Number of Employees = 16

December/1985 – First exportations to Tunis and Côte d’Ivoire.

1986 – Stock Capital increase to 6.000.000$00 (six millions escudos).

1983-1987 – Most of the production with destination in the Açores Islands.

1992 – Stock Capital increase to 15.400.000$00 (fifteen million four hundred thousand escudos).

1997 - CINTA was chosen to take part of the programmes INPME and FORQUALITY.

January/1998 – The City Council of Sintra validates the enlargement of the facilities.

2001 – Stock Capital Increased to 108.301,00 €

January/2003 – Enlargement of the facilities.

November/2005 - Our 25º Anniversary.
